Jeremy’s first collection, “No Real Modelz,” draws inspiration from the shaping of pop culture - a force that has both guided and misled him.

Jeremy’s fine art practice centres on connection and conversation. Jeremy revisits 90s–2000s pop culture with a deeper understanding of its role as escapism. By weaving these influences into his art, Jeremy revisits his younger self—turning off the TV and Playstation, lowering the music, and stepping away from the allure of pop culture—to confront the realities behind the distraction.

Through this process, Jeremy not only confronts these issues himself but also raises awareness about the importance of open dialogue around difficult subjects. This collection, but his work overall seeks to spark meaningful conversations, in order to push his generation and the next generation forward.

At first glance, the artwork is striking and approachable, but with added context, deeper layers of trauma and insight emerge, inviting reflection and dialogue.
