ABOUT
SUNDAY CANDY

The second collection, coming soon…

SUNDAY  has always held weight for me. In Samoan culture, Sunday is the Lord’s Day, a time for church, tradition, and community. As I’ve grown older, I’ve been drawn to explore those roots more deeply, looking inward at what church and religion mean to me personally and how they’ve shaped the people I come from.

But SUNDAY CANDY isn’t just about tradition, it’s about how I share my truth. I know that hard conversations about wealth, mindset, and cultural growth can be tough to swallow. That’s why I wrap those truths in something sweet.

I understand that you gotta wrap a real message in candy for it to be received.

This collection is also deeply personal because of my name. My first name, Suifua, a special family name passed down from my grandfather, a reverend, and my uncle, also a reverend. I’m beginning to realise I may have been given this name for a reason — a reason I’m still uncovering.

SUNDAY CANDY is part of that journey, a way for me to understand the connection between my name, my faith, my culture, and the legacy I’m meant to carry forward.
